Good day friends,

It was an amazing Winter of Projects.

The Fresh Drinking Water is now running at La Grange Village...thank you Childcare Canada for this amazing gift. The Medical Clinic is looking beautiful and the final finishing touches have been made. I installed a Solar System with the help of my dear friend Doug Wiebe on my 2nd trip to La Grange in February. The Medical Clinic is all set up for Dr. Philippe and Medical Teams...2 Examination Rooms with beautiful tables & an ovenight Hospital Room & Pharmacy soon to be stalked with $1000 of Medication & an Office.

What a MIRACLE this Project is for La grange Village.....next for La Grange is the Building of the Kitchen with Dry Food Storage and the 2 Kindergarten Classrooms. Funds of $15,000 need to be raised for these two Projects.

Plans are in place for Summer Camp 2012 for the 400 School Children - Lucserne & Phedrax Saint Louis are bsuy making plans for the first week of August. Soccer, Games, Art, Music, Dance, Stories and Drama & Lunch!!!!

Lavaneau High School is looking great for the May 25th 1st year Annivresary Party. I do want to make a visit....but the hot days have come and the humidity does not treat my body well. The Foundation is in place for the 4th Classroom and now we are raising $5000 of funds for the Construction. The Team was busy in late February & March unpacking the Library books we brought and working on the renovation of the Lavaneau Elementary School...the 400 Village Children are now back in the Renovated School....2 years after the Earthquake....so many amazing donations that made this a reality.

Maria Esther was blessed in Terrezas Mexico with a Boys Dorm built at the Children's Home and new tile for all the floors. I will return to Mexico May 17th with Nelson Avenue Community Church for an Alti Plano House Build and the Roof Project of the Community Church of Pastor Issac.

MIRACLES....are happening everyday....gifts that bless so many wonderful families and children in Mexico and Haiti. From School Fees to Meals to Lap Tops to Land for a Home & garden to Houses to School Classrooms.....WOW!!!!! I am in AWE of the gifts that touch so many.

Philippe is about to complete his second year of Medical School in Santiago and goes often to La Grange to host Medical Clinics...WOW!!!! this young man with a big dream...bigger then his whole village and world could ever provide....but God had a plan the day I met him...the day I walked into his parents mud house with a straw roof and said your son will have the support to become a Doctor....HE IS NOW AN AMAZING MEDICAL DOCTOR and HOSTS MANY CLINICS IN LA GRANGE and now I go to DEDICATE a beautiful Clinic.

It has been a tough two years....friends died in the Quake...some will never recover from injury...it was hard to face death all around me...to risk my life....but I ALWAYS FOLLOW MY HEART....I ALWAYS FOLLOW GODS LEADING.

HAITI - the daily phone calls and messages are AMAZING!!!!! Lavaneau High School has a morning shift of students and an afternoon...Teacher Frantz is so happy and bessed. The heavy rain storms and rising river have not stopped this years high school students as they no longer have to make the long journey into Jacmel.

Teacher Colas is caring for our 11 Sponsor Children and writes to say they are so excited to wear a uniform and walk to school so proud!!! The children are in need of a daily meal and it is our hope to raise funds for Teacher Colas to feed the 11 Children a hot rice bowl every morning....so we need $12 A DAY x # 20 SCHOOLS DAYS - would you like to donate to this fund???? www.projecthelphaiti.com

HUNGRY CHILDREN....it is tough, the most dificult moments of my work in Haiti and Mexico are the sweet voices and big dark eyes looking at me saying...HUNGRY ..PLEASE FOOD.... it breaks my heart everytime as I have never had to go a day without food...many of the Children in Haiti only eat a rice bowl with fish sauce every other day.

MEXICO...here we are getting ready for the Saturday Kids Day in Terrezas..it will be a fun day with chidren enjoying games & crafts & music & hot dogs!!! I have found a special project here in San Felipe - the Village Comedor Children's Center that  www.projecthelpmexico.com will support....more needy & hingry children. San Felipe is beautiful and a safe drive...come to stay in Play Azul Hotel for $31 a night - enjoy a fabulous Supper for $7 or a feast of Tacos for $4....the white sandy beaches are calling you. We need Rice & Beans & Oil & Used Children's Clothing & Womens Clothes & Blankets & Volunteers for Construction.

I am heading to Canada for the first couple weeks of December as I hope to win a seat in the BC Municipal Election for the Cultus Lake Board. I will return to Mexico Dec 18th and then to Haiti in February & back into Mexico.

I am home from yet another MOST AMAZING ADVENTURE....thankyou to my Sister Michelle for posting on the blog while I was in Haiti. Internet connection is a challenge in Haiti - it requires a long journey on foot down the mountain and across two rivers...then a motorcycle ride taxi to a Texaco Station...and then you get a weak to strong signal. Thats just apart of my daily adventure in Haiti.

Two wonderful friends were apart of the trip - Paul Larsen and Tony Meyer - these two amazing young men toughed out Camp Lavaneau in our banana grove complete - our cosy three tents kept us too HOT every night as the Temp was 38 - 41 cel with Humidity at 90%...I have to say it was tough at times - our last afternoon we made a quick decision to pack up our tent camp and head for Cap Lamadou Hotel....we needed Air Conditioning and Cold Drinks...Sunday afternoon the sweat was pouring off my head and I couldn't stop ...I was dizzy and feeling sick all over...heat stroke. We made it almost across the river when our truck got stuck....with the rushing river all around us up to our knees we jumped out and tried to push the truck out of the river...soon many young Hatians came to our aid but no luck...finally a $10 US Bill paid to a large truck pulled us out. We cooled off at the Hotel but not soon enough...Tony had a rough night very sick.

Paul caught the SOCCER DREAM and the balls & nets blessed the Elementary School & Lavaneau Mens Team...Tony went after the GOAT COOP dream for the School and I had my first experience of a goat market!!! not a pretty site.

MONDAY MORNING WE DEDICATED LAVANEAU HIGH SCHOOL....now that was the MOMENT!!!! WOW!!!! Teacher Frantz was excited and the students looked grand in their yellow shirts. The School year has begun and for the first time in history LAVANEAU MOUNTAIN has a HIGH SCHOOL...the cost per student is $3.50 per month.

I will share many stories and pictures in the coming days....our next trip to Haiti is set for February 27th - Project REBUILD THE LAVANEAU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. We are raising funds for this project and donations can be made at - www.projecthelphaiti.com
